COMING SOON to a THEATRE NEAR YOU

Mark your calendars for a very exciting musical evening- December 12 at the Royal Theater on College St in Toronto :
"BARRAGE" is a band of violinists with rhythm section back-up, who have toured the world and continue to get the crowds hopping.
You will be amazed at what these young people can do!

I have seen them now several times, and try not to miss an appearance when they are in town. It never disappoints. (MY connection? My nephew has been their drummer for a few years now- works hard, sees the world, and loves it!)
If you would like to purchase tickets I will have prices available at class this week. I will get them booked as soon as possible while they are available- to be paid in advance by Tuesday the 6th.
In the meantime, don't forget: Practice carefully and often! This band started with Twinkles, Mrs. Sippi Hotdogs and Long Long Ago's too, right here in Calgary Alberta. The hot shots moved on to form the band we now know as Barrage"
Google them- you'll get the idea!

KEEP MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER

PHOTOS THIS WEEK

Put on your best smile this week- we'll be taking pictures while you play .
We'll also be asking parents to sign permission slips to allow us to use your beautiful faces and poses in future publicity articles, posters etc.

We are now about to go into a little higher gear, to get started with fingers down, our first scale and Twinkle , over the next few weeks.instrument o

NOW is the time to be SURE you have your bow grip perfected, and instrument posture comfortable. Continue to review these daily, by the end of the term you should not have to think about- it'll be perfect and natural.

BE SURE to be on time for your 15 minute set up period. Once class starts, you are disrupting the group if you come in late. SO please don't do this!

Looking forward to "shifting gears" with you this week!
