Instrument Care Reminders

February 2, 2017,

PARENT NOTES

  • Beginners: First private lessons continue this week. Week 2, make sure you have the dates recorded carefully in your MATT calendar for all week 2 lessons till May?June. These lessons allow you, if you do your regular daily review and practice, to move forward at your own pace and SHINE!!
  • Rose Orchestra Tickets ordered: February 11, 8pm  Rose Orchestra Concert, with Rosebuds will be available for you at Yogita's desk this week.
  • Instrument Care: Recently we have had some unfortunate damage to 2 instruments. Remember when they are in your care, you should have your rented instrument insured under your home policy.

    Simple Maintenance Steps to Follow:

    1. Keep your eye on the bridge - if it is starting to lean, please tell your teacher so it can be corrected before expensive repair is needed.
    2. Bow hair must be loosened while not being used to avoid excessive stretching.
