PARENT NOTES
1.ROSE/ROSEBUD CONCERT : LAST CALL this YEAR- for tickets: THIS week, Apr 18,19.
The Saturday April 29, "Blockbusters" Concert features familiar show tunes and classical hits as well.
Give your young musicians the chance to see their instrument in action- Its inspiring!
2.Sat MAY17 EVENTS to COME: Pencil in Saturday May 17 for a possible MATT fun - fundraising event, now being planned.
Tues and Wednesday May 2 and 3 CLASS TIME: PARENT MEETINGS with Board members are being planned to introduce this idea and others! Book your time and plan to be there
IMPORTANT MATT DATES:
- June 7 Dress rehearsal 5 pm to 7pm
- June 13: Final Concert (4:30 arrival 6pm concert).
- June 21: Year End Party 4-to 6 pm

3. D scale- Listen for perfect tuning of notes; Check sitting /standing position, bow grip, straight bow, whole bows

2. CONCERT ENSEMBLES. Not all students are ready for ensembles- Mya and Leah will join Vivaldi group. No worries- we are all working forward at different levels and paces. Some have fewer years experience. We will all enjoy listening to Vivaldi and playing all the other beautiful music together!
3.CONCERT Intermezzo from Cavaliera Rusticana by Mascagni: ALL - to be carefully practiced

7. CONCERT FINALE PALLADIO scale of F major.
Learn 16th note bars one at a time- slow then quick, till they become fun to play!
