May 23 to 27  INTERVIEW SIGN UP FOR ALL PARENTS
   with Ms. Currie- discussion, private lesson progress report & your suggestions for MATT 

April 30 to May 11 LAST WEEKS of Private lessons- 
                              15. 15 min. Parent Interviews.- all parents, with Ms Currie

Saturday May 5, 11 to 4 MATT PLAYTHON II FUNDRAISER at  SHOPPERS' WORLD

Please initial your name in class to indicate that you will be at the Play a thon event

MAY 5 PLAY A THON SCHEDULE

10:30: set up - Wayne Strongman, NIcole Yoshimura

11:00 - 11:30: -  Beginners

11:30 - 12:30: CHOIR / Intermediate Ensembles
     
12:30 - 1:30: Intermediate Class

1:30 - 2 pm:  MATT Ensembles/ tentative- guest performers

2pm - 3 pm: Advanced Class

3pm - 4pm:  Northern Lights Quartet-
                     NLQ trio: Andrea Currie Jefferson  Leona Davidson, violins,
                                            cellist David Rodrigo

ALL performers receive a sweet treat after performing, Thank you,  Brampton Towers.!! 

Tuesday May 22-  DRESS (final) REHEARSALS- wear normal clothing
   at Holland Christian Homes- Heritage Hall,7900 McLaughlin Rd South 
                                         bring your instrument, stand , concert music
                                                          
Beginners: 4:30 -4:45
Intermediates: 5 to 5:45
Advanced: 6 -7pm

Tuesday May 29: FINALE SHOWCASE CONCERT 6 to 7:15pm
 at Holland Christian Homes- Heritage Hall,7900 McLaughlin Rd South 
                                        
ALL students arrive at 4:15 pm FULL REHEARSAL 4:30 to 5:45 pm
Wear MATT t-shirts, dress pants/shoes
Bring your instrument, stand , concert music

PARENTS: Please bring refreshments. We serve all who perform and attend, including residents of HCH .- to be co-organized by two parents. Mid -May we will post a sign up sheet in class. Sign up in class to bring your choice : beverage/ snack / fruit. It is always a feast of  wonderful variety!

INTERMEDIATES
ALL Students and Parents are asked to help bring in pledges-funds to be handed in May 7,8,9, in class or at interview. 
1. NEW Scarborough Fair- LISTEN on YOU TUBE! Will accompany choir

3. Water Music Dances 1 and 3 all
4. Crepuscule -mark in note names NEW- bars 48 to 76- Review all from beginning.
5.`Happy Blues- Review ALL  Work on CODA ending and "road map"

ADVANCED
ALL Students and Parents are asked to help bring in pledges-funds to be handed in May 7,8,9, in class or at interview. 
1. GIGUE from Suite Francaise- learn ALL for Play a thon performance!
2. Fiddlers Three: "FIDDLE Style"- use elbow motion/strong arm weight/ fuller bows 
3. Ave Verum: careful attention to BOWINGS- correct slurs,  perfect tuning 
4. Beauty and the Beast - to bar 69
5. Suite for Strings: Preludio and Gigue
6. Harry Potter: to bar 77- work on dynamics and strong ending!
