YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! Feb. 17/16

YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

EVERY LITTLE BIT OF EXCELLENCE  YOU ATTAIN
when you practice and perfect something,

helps you make a better contribution to your orchestra class.

And that means the whole group will sound better.

THAT'S a GREAT FEELING!
your practice makes a difference- EVERY DAY!

SOUND BITES FROM ADMINISTRATION

PRIVATE LESSONS:
  1. No stands are needed if your lessons are in the violin or cello studios.
  2. PLEASE, bring a notebook (like from the dollar store) for the teacher to write notes in for your practicing.
  3. Please be there at least 5 mins. before your lesson to get your instrument out and music ready so you can make the most of your 30 minutes.
Theory is on the same week as your lessons (for the majority of students)
(There is NO theory for beginners for now)
If theory is cancelled, (it will be posted on the blog as soon as I know) there is NO make-up class.
If your private lesson is cancelled by the teacher or in advance by you, the teacher will try to make-up the lesson if a mutual time can be found.

NOTE: I've had a couple parents ask about when fees are due.  Fees for the final MATT semester are due March 22nd. Final semester starts March 29.  Last day of MATT classes for this year is June 7th. (remember, there is a concert and party after that!! Those dates are being confirmed.)

PARENT INFORMATION:

PLEASE NOTE:  In order to receive your MATT Certificate to graduate, it is mandatory that you attend one Rose Orchestra concert.

Please save the date for these remaining Rose Orchestra concerts:
  1. Saturday March 26th - "It's Tradition"
  2. Saturday April 30th - "Springtime in Paris" (with the Rosebuds!)
These are the FINAL TWO concerts for the Rose Orchestra this season.  Please make every effort to attend a concert.  Tickets will be available as usual for MATT families.  Adults $20 each.  Children $10 (total!) for up to 4 children!!
Sign up for tickets will be 2 weeks prior to the concert with tickets being delivered the week of the concert. (Because of March break, sign up for the March concert will be March 1st with the payment deadline being March 8th and tickets handed out on March 22nd.)
