a) NEW EVENT INVITATION for all students on Thursday  Dec 6 : 7pm ". To honor our generous Brampton Towers hosts, who provide all our MATT space at no charge,
 Can we add a Party Room Concert for Towers families Dec. 6 Thursday night 6:30 to 8pm. We would like to be able to do this, but it depends on student attendance. We will expect all students  at the Mall Friday evening Dec.7th. But would you also be able to play the same program the night before for the Towers? Please sign the attendance list Tuesday and Thursday next week.

b) Rented Instruments need to be returned if not correctly signed out by next week! See Yogita with correct ID required

c) THEORY SIGN UP CONTINUES. CLASSES START Tues Nov 20 Testing on  day 1 for all!
Make sure you let Yogita know what book you need NOW!!

d) DECEMBER 7 MALL CONCERT: 7pm. arrive 6:15pm- for all students. . Please ensure that your child will be available to perform that evening.Dress:  MATT t-shirt and festive colourful pants/skirt/ accessories- no blue jeans please.

d) ADVANCED ENSEMBLE ROSE THEATRE PERFORMANCE: SAT Dec 1st. :

HAVE you got your shirt/blouse yet? 
Student apparel: Purple dress shirts/blouses with- Boys: black dress pants -Girls: appropriate colour or black skirt/pants, ALL please wear dress shoes. 

Boys: Please see Yogita to obtain boy's dress shirt and bow-tie. 

GIrls- see colour and style sample in class

3. Review: Scale of G one octave March in the Style of Corelli -careful tuning

3.. Fandango: -   ALL:  Learn bars 75 to end!!

                            Write in note names where needed                                 

4. Review: Trumpet Tune  : to be played twice through in performance: 

         Dynamics for 2nd time through : first line, piano, second line ff -                                                                              fortissimo(as loud as possible) -full bows!

5. Review: HTPO- Happy Song- notes and rhythms. Careful counting

2. Mozart - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik: focus only on learning to play well your most difficult bars- CIRCLE them and practice them carefully and slowly 
 ALL- REMEMBER to  MARK in and practice c# or f# on your LOWER strings 
                                            
3. Pachelbel  CANON : CELLOS NEW: bars 9-14 

                          Follow bowings

                  N.B. CUT: play to bar 20 then skip to bar 40.

b) violas and cellos Write in NOTE NAMES  and fingerings on your lower strings
c) ALL  tune  your sharps (cellos-extensions) on lower strings 

4. Deep River: FOCUS ON CORRECT  BOWINGS  throughout

                                             especially in BARS 35 and 36
