THE CONCERT:
Two weeks from Tuesday's class-same time, same place on May 31, our first Music at the Towers performance . Everyone can bring four or five guests- that will give us a great audience. Busy people need lots of advance notice, so if you haven't already invited them, make your calls this week for sure! They will be happy be there to support you in this very special adventure of music- making!
SESSION THREE starts this week, so please bring your $25.00 fees Tuesday.This will take you to the end of June, when we take our summer break. If you would like to continue to play and practice over the summer, you can make arrangements to have the instrument longer. Just let us know towards the end of June. This is actually an excellent way to get ahead, when you have lots of extra time at home. Extra lessons can be arranged on an individual basis if you wish.
MUSIC STANDS REQUIRED
After the concert, we will be starting to read music and will need music stands to hold our method books. Students are asked to purchase a music stand for their use at home and at class. We can get them for you at Long & McQuade, Brampton at a cost of either $16.00 or $32.00(incl.tax), or you can purchase your own. The more expensive one ($32.) has a nice carrying bag and with good treatment will last a long time. The other one is a serviceable collapsible stand but needs to be treated carefully - you make the choice. We need you to have them for June 7th, so if you want us to pick it up for you, please bring your payment this week or next.
VERY NICE SOUNDS are beginning to be made Tuesday afternoons - your dedicated practice is the key to your progress!
